HOW THE COURSE WORKS

• All lessons are pre-recorded videos. Videos are posted to a Telegram group. You will get access to the Telegram group when the course starts.
• Please complete your assignments in order. Each lesson is designed to build on the skills learned on the previous lesson.
• After each assignment, send clear pictures or videos of your work. We will check your work and give you feedback and corrections if needed.
• You'll have 3 months to ask questions and send in your assignments.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

This class is for dressmakers and fashion designers who would like to learn or improve their corsetmaking skills.

MATERIALS (quantities estimated)

WAIST CORSET MATERIALS

• Corset mesh or felt bobbinet (1 yard)
• Matching color satin (1-2 yards)
• Grosgrain ribbon
• Plastic or spiral bones (5 yards)
• About 20 eyelets. Preferred size 8mm

OVERBUST CORSET MATERIALS

• Brocade, satin or ankara (2 yards)
• Satin for lining (2 yards)
• Corset (fabric) interfacing (3 yards)
• Grosgrain ribbon
• 12mm rigilene bone (optional) (2yards)
• Plastic or spiral boning (10 yards)
• About 30 eyelets (preferred size 8mm)
• Corset busk (optional)

CUPPED CORSET MATERIALS

• Brocade, satin or ankara (2yards)
• Satin for lining (2 yards)
• Corset (fabric) interfacing (3 yards)
• Grosgrain ribbon
• Bra underwires that fit your breast
• Bra foam or laminated foam (1 sheet)
• 12mm rigilene bone (optional) (2 yards)
• Plastic or spiral boning (10 yards)
• About 30 eyelets (preferred size 8mm)
